Named in honour of the legendary mare Winx, the stand celebrates one of the greatest racehorses of all time. Winx claimed 37 victories from 43 starts, including an extraordinary 33 consecutive wins, and earned $26.4 million in prizemoney during her remarkable career.

The Winx Stand’s ground floor features an expansive, fully enclosed indoor space flooded with natural light from floor to high ceiling glass with direct access to the trackside Leger Lawn to experience all the live action.

Then head up to level one of the Winx Stand that features two fully enclosed modern indoor spaces connected by a sweeping open-air outdoor terrace offering panoramic views over picturesque Royal Randwick.

Located in the Eastern Suburbs, the venue is only 10 minutes from the CBD with a dedicated light-rail service and station adjacent to the entrance, heaps of free in-field car parking and proximity to the international airport makes the venue very accessible.

Whether you're following the form, cheering on your favourite runner or simply soaking up the atmosphere,
TAB Everest Day combines elite racing with premium hospitality and unforgettable entertainment. The action does not stop at the finish line, stay on for a live music performance after the last race.

Winx, born on 14 September 2011, is a celebrated Australian Thoroughbred racehorse who retired as a champion. She won in 37 out of 43 career races. Notably, from May 2015 until her retirement in April 2019, she won her last 33 races consecutively, including 25 Group 1 victories, setting a world record. Her wins spanned distances from 1300 metres (approximately 6+1⁄2 furlongs) to 2200 metres (about 11 furlongs).
